One of the services that has grown in popularity for CARE Members is window cleaning.  For some older adults and people with disabilities, their mobility around their home is limited.  They may only have access to certain rooms or are unable to stand only allowing them to view the outside from lower windows.  Dirt and grime on windows is not only unsightly, it can block sunlight from getting in and blocks your clear view of the outside.

CARE Volunteers take time to use the member’s preferred cleaning solution and method.  Recently a member recommended water, vinegar and a small amount of dish soap.  This definitely made the windows sparkle.  Washing the outside of windows on member houses is a great project for small volunteer groups or an individual volunteer.  Please contact us to learn more.

CARE Volunteers have really stepped up to ensure that CARE Members are able to enjoy everything that comes along with clean and shiny windows.
