Since 2017 Communities Assisting Residential Elders (CARE)  has been improving the quality of life for Seniors through the coordination and completion of projects in and around their homes. Thanks to our generous funders, volunteers and community partners, CARE  continues to expand it’s reach throughout Northeast Ohio.  CARE Members are homeowners, 60 and older living in any one of our 9 participating communities.

CARE VOLUNTEERS SUPPORT THEIR ELDER NEIGHBORS

IT TAKES A COMMUNITY CARE Volunteers have an opportunity to support the beautification of their neigborhoods by supporting their elder neighbors who want to do their part but may need some assistance.  For most CARE Members they have lived in the neighborhood for many years, and are just unable to maintain their yards like they use to and are unable to afford landscapers. Window Cleaning – Why is it such a Popular Service?

One of the services that has grown in popularity for CARE Members is window cleaning.  The value in window cleaning is much more than just having clean windows.  For some older adults their mobility around their home and in the community is limited.  While they would like to be able to keep their windows clean so they can enjoy the view, they are just unable to complete the tasks.
